Some FAQ about our rounds for sale
Why are we selling rounds?
Over the last 10 years we have built the largest database of residential window cleaning customers in the UK. We are at full capacity for our admin staff, office space, water manufacture etc. The fact is the administration becomes a real headache at these levels. Imagine 200 emails a day and a similar amount of phone calls, along with the actual planning of those jobs. We can handle it but don’t want the logistics of our in house rounds to get even bigger.
However, with a massive internet presence we still get dozens of new enquiries every day. So rather than turn new customers away, we will sell some rounds to make way for new.
Where is the work?
We work from Leeds and cover Nationally.
This work is all covered from Leeds and 90% on daily rounds. For some of the very Southern jobs we accommodate our operators in hotels each week. Because the work is priced at a premium it is still profitable even with the huge travelling distances. However, you can imagine these jobs are far more efficient for a more local cleaner to cover. Therefore the rounds are extremely desirable.How much / Open of offers?
All our jobs are premium and priced like good commercial work. It is priced to generate £60/hour for a single operator van.
Our rounds are therefore priced like premium commercial work at 12x monthly turnover.
We are not flexible to offers and would suggest you consider a franchise if you are looking at less investment.
This is not bargain basement work. If you want a round for 3/4/5 times monthly please look elsewhere. You really do get what you pay for.
Frequency of jobs
Most are 4 weekly with 8 weekly a close second and a few 12 weekly.
We price the whole batch of jobs based on monthly turnover and multiply by the amount agreed (so in effect you pay half for 8 weekly work).Average price of work
As mentioned above our work is aimed at £60/hour. Therefore a 20 minute job should be £20 on average.

Extras - Conservatory roofs, gutters etc.
Many rounds for sale boast of extra services for you to cash in on. The fact is we already do! Especially gutter cleaning. We have several full time vans just doing gutters. 65% of ALL our jobs have been quoted for extras and our database information records this.
If you don’t already do gutter clearing, it would be important to consider. If not you may be giving up the potential to top your work up. Also, we keep our gutter vans busy all year. This is not just Autumn work.
What information is passed over within the sale of the round?
We have client information that is second to none. This is imperative in a large organisation where different operators are cleaning each time.
Customer name, address, telephone/s, email.
Cost of clean, frequency, next clean date.
Spec/job notes, arrears.
Average time to clean.
Comments/notes from customer service emails/telephone calls
Prices and date of quotes for extra services (gutters, fascias etc.)What format is the information provided in?
We use a standard spreadsheet and normally provide the information that way. However, for those not familiar with spreadsheets we can send by simple text email, or on PDF sheets that can easily be printed, or even printed out and posted to you.
Other information
Absolutely no collecting. Cash on the day or cheque/bank transfer. All water fed pole.
How the process of transfer works.
We are experienced in the process so have standard agreements in place. The agreement is short and simple. It states the number of customers, the monthly value and the purchase cost.
The whole transfer is normally completed by email.
Amount of work and cost of sale agreed.
Sale of goodwill agreement issued.
Bank transfer made.
Within 2 working hours of receipt, client list and all information supplied in requested format. -
